The two teams met for the second time in many days.

Gambit Esports took the championship of the BLAST Premier Spring when the won against Natus Vincere for the second time in the competition. The Russian team beat their fellow countrymen 2-0, right after beating them 2-1 just two days prior.

The journey of this grand final is interesting, and a bit confusing. Both Gambit Esports and Natus Vincere were playing in the Upper Brackets for the tournament, with the two teams meeting at the Upper Bracket finals on 19 June. There, Gambit Esports over-powered Na’Vi with a score of 2-1, and Na’Vi went down to the lower brackets as the finals seed.

In the lower bracket, Na’Vi battle against G2 Esports where they won 2-1 , which puts them back in the Grand Final, against Gambit Esports who just beat them a couple of days ago.

Abay “HObbitt” Khasenov  recorded 45 kills and  Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov had a plus-15 kills-to-death differential for Gambit Esports.

Gambit Esports pocketed $225,000, a berth in the 2021 World Final and 4,000 BLAST Premier points with the victory.

The standing for the BLAST Premier Spring Event are as follows:

Team Prize Money BLAST Premier points
Gambit Esports $ 225,000 4000
Natus Vincere $ 85,000 2000
G2 Esports $ 40,000 1500
