Pinnacle Cup II signals a return to competitive CS:GO pro circuit

The tournament, hosted by Pinnacle and Relog Media, will have a $100,00 prize pool for grabs.

Pinnacle is back in the CSGO pro-tournament circuit with the announcement of the Pinnacle Cup II. This tournament is on the back of the one held earlier this year and signals Pinnacle's continued commitment to the CS:GO Pro circuit.

Pinnacle Cup II will follow the same format as the first edition, where the $100,000 prize pool will split to $80,000 for the grand winner, and $20,000 for the runner ups.

"We’re excited to announce a second Pinnacle Cup CS:GO event, following the success of our inaugural tournament in the spring. This success is testament to the tireless efforts of the team, and our partners, in creating an unrivalled fan experience that strengthens Pinnacle’s relationship with the esports community. Our commitment to the Pinnacle Cup II further showcases our ambition to scale our value proposition through our products and the streaming of the tournament in collaboration with GRID and Relog Media. We look forward to welcoming back some of the teams that took part in the first edition of the Pinnacle Cup and opening the door for more of the world’s best teams to battle it out for the chance to be champion." - Paris Smith, CEO - Pinnacle

Pinnacle will be partnering with GRID esports as their exclusive data partner for the event.

"Pinnacle continues to impress with their esports foray in general and innovation of their product by embracing GRIDs data as a source. It is a pleasure to collaborate further for this event with the goal to develop another showcase for the successful adoption of official data in esports." - Moritz Maurer, CEO - GRID Esports

Broadcasts will take place on “The Esports Bible”, who previously  streamed Home Sweet Home. Their channels twitch.tv/TEBTV & twitch.tv/TEBTVRU will be used.

The Pinnacle Cup II will kick off from 28 June where the group stages will start, and end on 16 July with the grand finals.
