CSGO & Dota 2 Professional Leagues With $250,000 Prize Pool

UCC and Loot.bet have announced the launch of two new leagues for CS:GO and Dota 2 respectively where a hefty prize pool in addition to pride is at stake. 

Teams from across Europe, as well as the CIS region such as AVANGAR, Winstrike, Red Reserve, Windigo and many more, are set to compete and showcase their teamwork as well as their talent as they look to be crowned the winner of the CS:GO league this March.

The CS:GO league will begin on the 26th of January 2019 with the Open Qualifiers. It will span the duration of five seasons with a bounty of $30,000 allocated for each season. The winner of the Open Qualifiers will join Syman Gaming, Chaos Esports and Nemiga Gaming in the next stage of the competition, the Closed Qualifiers.

The Closed Qualifiers will feature a Double Elimination format where the winners will be granted a ticket to the Main Stage. There, they will get to compete alongside the nine teams who have already been directly invited to the main event which will be held from the 4th of February to the 4th of March 2019.

The Main Stage of the first ever Loot.bet CS:GO Season will feature a Round Robin format where the four teams with the most points scored will compete in the Double Elimination Playoffs from March 5th - March 8th. The winners will take the largest share of $18,000 and the teams that place 2nd, 3rd and 4th, will be rewarded $7,500, $3000, and $1500 respectively.

Regarding the Dota 2 League, the opening season is set to begin in early spring and will consist of four seasons each with a prizepool of $25,000. Information regarding the tournament schedule and participating teams are set to be revealed in the near future.

At the end of the season for both leagues, the organizers will be giving away valuable prizes, such as gaming laptops among the most attentive and thoughtful spectators on the Gleam.io platform. Clues and tips for participating in the quests will be hidden on Loot.bet and the bookmaker's Discord channel as well as on the streams.
