The North duo of Philip "aizy" Aistrup and René "cajunb" Borg finalises the participants list of the HTC 2v2 Invitational.
Finalising the list of participants at the HTC 2v2 Invitational are the North duo of Philip "aizy" Aistrup and René "cajunb" Borg. The two Danes will join fourteen other players in a clash for $50,000 in prize money. The event will be hosted at the PGL Studios in Bucharest, Romania on May 13th-14th. During the two days, eight duos from various organisations around the world will face off in a best-of-three format featuring three aim maps. Two of the maps will feature retake situations, whilst one will be an aim map with rifles.
Last year's iteration saw a $25,000 prize pool and a 1v1 format, which one of the participants took away, namely Richard "shox" Papillon. The Frenchman was able to overcome all opponents, closing the tournament out with a victory over ex-CSGL's Micha? "MICHU" Müller in the grand final, consequently walking away with $10,000 in his pocket, as well as bragging rights as the finest duellist to grace the event. This year the Frenchman returns with his partner in crime, Kenny "KennyS" Schrub in a bid to secure $2,500 more than last time.
