CS:GO News Week in Review: April 17th

Misfits consolidate roster

Misfits opted to re-work their roster, following the departure of Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken to Team Liquid. The organisation benched Skyler "Relyks" Weaver and integrated two French representatives in David "devoduvek" Dobrosavljevic and François "AmaNEk" Delaunay. The ex-Vexed Gaming duo completed the five man line-up, that now consists of three Americans and two Frenchmen. 

Team Liquid sign Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken

Various rumours were circulating the scene whereby Team Liquid were set to sign 17 year-old Misfits representative Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken. Said rumours were dispelled, as the team indeed signed the youngster to the starting roster in place of Jacob "Pimp" Winneche, who departed from the starting roster and is awaiting the fulfilment of a transfer agreement to another CS:GO team.

cs_summit announce schedule and initial match-ups

The long awaited cs_summit is but three days away from commencing, in light of this Beyond the Summit have released the full schedule for the event, coupled with initial match-ups. Eight teams from various regions of the world will meet in Los Angeles, California, United States at the BtS mansion to duke it out for a whopping $150,000. As with other BtS events, the setting will be relaxed and casual, giving the players an alternative perspective on CS:GO events. 

Braxton "swag" Pierce to substitute for Cloud9 during cs_summit

The North American organisation has announced that ex-iBUYPOWER member Braxton "swag" Pierce will be representing the organisation at cs_summit, substituting Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham. Whilst the CS:GO prodigy is indeed banned from participating at Valve-endorsed events due his involvement in the ex-iBUYPOWER betting scandal, cs_summit does not fall under this category hence he is able to participate and represent Cloud9.

Renegades finalise CS:GO roster

Renegades have finalised their CS:GO roster following the addition of Nemanja "Nexa" Isakovi?. The Serbian CS:GO player crossed paths with the organisation during a break period at the recent StarLadder event, where they got talking and seemed to mesh seamlessly. Following this interaction the decision was made to sign Isakovi?, finalising the five-man line-up of Renegades.

North sign academy team

F.C. København's CS:GO team, North have opted to sign an academy team, much like other organisations such as Fnatic, GODSENT, Gambit Esports and others. The roster fields the likes of ex-Rogue member Nicolai "glace" Jensen, two members from ex-eFuture.dk in Daniel "mertz" Mertz and Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand, CS 1.6 pro Frederik "LOMME" Nielsen and up-and-coming Danish pro, Nicklas "gade" Gade. Coaching said five will be 1.6 legend Alexander "ave" Holdt, who was part of the dominant mTw roster.
