The League of Legends boy band is gearing up for its next era, with Live My Life arriving on 18 September.
The answering machine tease was only the beginning. Riot Games has now fully unveiled the next chapter for its League of Legends virtual group HEARTSTEEL, confirming a new single, "Live My Life", alongside the artists bringing Ezreal, K’Sante, Sett, and Kayn to life this time arounad.
Riot Games has confirmed that the group will release their second single, "Live My Life", on 18 September at 9:00am PT, marking their first new music since their 2023 debut. The full reveal comes days after Riot teased HEARTSTEEL's comeback, bringing all six members back into the spotlight after a three-year hiatus.

Baekhyun returns as Ezreal for HEARTSTEEL's 2026 comeback, joined by Anderson .Paak as K’Sante, Connor Price as Sett, and Nic D as Kayn.
Baekhyun returns as Ezreal
EXO's Baekhyun is the only returning voice among the four featured performers, having previously voiced Ezreal in HEARTSTEEL's 2023 debut single "PARANOIA". Riot says the track has since surpassed 200 million streams across platforms.
The singer, who is also a dedicated League player, said his return came after reconnecting with Riot during his Reverie tour last year.
"I’m really excited to be collaborating with League of Legends again," Baekhyun said. "It’s great to step back into this role. During my ‘Reverie tour’ last year, I had the chance to visit the Riot campus, where I connected with the Riot team, exchanged ideas, and we found a lot of inspiration in each other," he added.
"It feels especially meaningful to see that inspiration turn into something we can now share with fans and players around the world. I honestly can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve created together. It’s going to be incredible."
Anderson .Paak as K’Sante
Anderson .Paak takes over as K’Sante, who was previously voiced by tobi lou in "PARANOIA". The nine-time Grammy Award-winning artist, producer, songwriter, and director is perhaps best known as one half of Silk Sonic alongside Bruno Mars. He has also released music under his DJ alter ego DJ Pee .Wee and won Best Progressive R&B Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards with NxWorries.
Connor Price as Sett
Connor Price voices Sett, taking over from ØZI. The Canadian actor and independent artist is known for his viral "Spin the Globe" series and recently released his debut album About Time, featuring Big Sean and Idris Elba. He also sold out his latest North American tour alongside frequent collaborator Nic D.
Nic D as Kayn
Nic D steps in as Kayn, who was previously voiced by Cal Scruby The independent artist has amassed more than 1.5 billion career streams and over 4.5 million monthly Spotify listeners. Outside music, he also co-hosts the FRDi Show podcast.
Jon Bellion, meanwhile, wrote and produced "Live My Life".
What is HEARTSTEEL's Live My Life about?
"Live My Life" picks up HEARTSTEEL's story three years after "PARANOIA", with Riot positioning the group as more confident and comfortable with who they are this time around.
Their debut introduced six wildly different personalities trying to make a band work while dealing with ambition, anxiety, and their own doubts. The new song shifts that energy towards embracing who they are and living loudly without apology. Riot describes "Live My Life" in a press release as blending musical experimentation with raw emotion while pushing HEARTSTEEL into a brighter and bolder new chapter. That also means the comeback is picking up the personalities and friendships that helped give HEARTSTEEL its identity in 2023, rather than simply dropping another song under the same name.
Who are the HEARTSTEEL members in League of Legends?
HEARTSTEEL reimagines six League of Legends champions as members of a pop group. Ezreal is the group's vocalist, Kayn serves as its rapper, Aphelios handles instruments and songwriting, Yone is the producer, K’Sante is a co-leader and vocalist, and Sett is a co-leader and rapper. On the side, Aphelios's sister, Alune was also the co-manager of the group. The group debuted in 2023 with "PARANOIA", joining Riot's growing line-up of virtual League music acts.
Riot Games Global Head of Music and Events Maria Egan said the team sees its virtual artists as another way for players to connect with League champions beyond the game itself.
"Our virtual artists give players a completely different way to experience the champions they love, reimagining them in this alt fantasy being pop stars, alongside some of their favorite artists," Egan said.
She added that HEARTSTEEL took plenty of inspiration from the fandom surrounding K/DA, with Riot eager to see what players create around the group's new era.

HEARTSTEEL's "Live My Life" will release on Friday, 18 September at 9:00am PT. The accompanying music video will premiere on the official League of Legends YouTube channel, while the track will also arrive across major music streaming platforms at the same time.
