Three ESL Pro League Europen Division matches have been rescheduled as a result of flight delays of teams returning from DreamHack Masters: Las Vegas 2017.
DreamHack Masters: Las Vegas 2017 competitors Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere and NiP were unable to return to Europe as their flights were either delayed or cancelled. ESL responded to the situation by delaying their matches which were scheduled for February 22-23. Normally, ESL Pro League matches cannot be scheduled but ESL stated that this was due to "special circumstances". ESL did not reveal when the matches will be played.
Please note that, absent extraordinary circumstances such as we face here, rescheduling matches is not possible in the League. However, due to the special circumstances and the delays caused by the airline, we are granting a special exception. Players affected by this will in some cases arrive home after their official match start or just a short time before the start of their match after being on the road and traveling for more than 72 hours in a stressful and exhausting situation out of their control.”
These are the rescheduled matches:
Natus Vincere | vs. North |
NiP | vs. fnatic |
Virtus.pro |
vs. HellRaisers |
