Luminosity and Rush complete ESL Pro League S5 team list

Both Luminosity and Rush won their promotion matches to secure their spots in ESL Pro Leauge Season 5.

The complete team list for ESL Pro League Season 5 which starts on February 7th, is determined as the promotion matches are over. ESEA Premier sides Luminosity and Rush faced Season 4's underperforming teams Selfless and Splyce. The first match was between Luminosity and Selfless.

The Brazilian side destroyed Selfless on Train before stealing away the victory on map 2, Cache, to gain promotion to ESL Pro League. Luminosity's 24 years old player Gustavo "yeL" Knittel carried his team to victory by obtaining an impressive 28 kill-death difference over two maps.

In the second match, Splyce started off strongly by winning their map pick, Mirage 16-10. But Rush bounced back to win the remaining two maps despite Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel's efforts and secured their spot in ESL Pro League Season 5.

With these results, it is now determined that ESL Pro League Season 5's North America division will feature two Australian and three Brazilian squads. These teams will compete in the fifth season:
