Group B saw two lop-sided matches, where G2 Esports and FaZe Clan cruise through to the winners' bracket of the group.
A few rather uneventful matches took place during the group B matches between G2 Esports vs. MVP Project and FaZe Clan vs. FlipSid3 Tactics. G2 managed to keep it short on de_Train, projecting themselves into the winners' bracket, whilst the European mix was completely un-fazed by the Ukrainians' performance, joining the French on the road to riches. The legendary roster of G2 Esports kick off on the CT side of de_Train, where the team shows great communication and teamwork. It proved fairly simple for them when it came to fending off the Korean aggressors of MVP Project, leading to fairly dissappointing result for the underdogs. G2 take the first half 13:2.
Switching over to the T side of affairs, G2 knew that it was a matter of brushing up, hence the team went on to win three rounds, giving up but a single one over to the Koreans. The French team dominates the map, securing their winners' brackets spot on a 16:3 note.

FaZe Clan burst onto de_Train in blazing colours as the team showed no mercy in dealing with the home crowd representatives. The European mix kicks off on the CT side of the map, mirroring the performance of G2 in their play. No respect was shown, a very bullish performance from the team, leading to a hard-hitting 13:2 lead.
Unlike G2, FaZe Clan decided not to lend a single round, instead closing it out on a 16:2 score. A very dissappointing performance from the Ukrainains, with hope of redemption in the losers' bracket. Meanwhile FaZe go on to look forward to their match against G2 Esports tomorrow in the winners' bracket of group B.
