Adrenaline Rush announces $100,000 league with LAN finals

The Adrenaline Cyber League will feature an open stage for signed up teams paralleled with an invite stage culminating in a four team LAN in Moscow on October 1-2.

Amateur teams have the chance to earn their spots at a LAN with high profile teams like Gambit in a series of eight BO1 online tournaments where the winners will advance to round of 16 of the BO3 single elimination playoffs.

The invite stage begins Thursday, August 4th, when the eight invited teams will play in a round-robin style to determine the top two teams in each group. Those teams will be seeded directly into the quarter-finals of the tournament. The invites are divided into two groups of four:

The grandfinalists from that mini-tournament will be invited to the LAN finals in addition to two other European teams, which will take place on October 1-2 at the annual IgroMir electronics expo in Moscow. The first place team will receive $50,000, second place will receive $25,000, third place $15,000, and fourth place $10,000, hinting at a third place match that will take place between the two semifinalists.
