The North American organization announced changes in their CS:GO lineup, dropping awper Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan for Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas.

OpTic Gaming have announced changes in their CS:GO line-up, with the Spanaird Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas stepping in to the team in place of the departing Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan. Rumors had been afloat for a few weeks of the ongoing turmoil within the roster, with the team missing out on the DreamHack: Austin qualifier and failing to make it out of the MLG: Columbus Major qualifier.

Currently, OpTic sit at 12-6 in the ESL Pro League and, having qualified for the Turner E-LEAGUE, are primed to kick off the inaugural season of the event.

Cañellas is no stranger to the competitive scene, having played for Spanish teams gBots and Epsilon through 2015.

Will Team OpTic see a decline in their level of play after releasing ShahZaM?
