FlipSid3 Tactics have defeated the Ninjas in Pyjamas in a 2-1 series to move on to the semifinals against the winners of Na'vi/Renegades.

FlipSid3 immediately had a terrible start on de_inferno, one of the Ninja in Pyjamas' best maps. First losing the pistol round to their opponents, the Ukrainian team let a second round forcebuy win slide right between their fingers after a misplay by their in-game leader Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy, who tried to go for a deeper plant on A site without checking the time left, giving NiP the win by a matter of milliseconds. The rest of the half went perfectly for the Ninjas in Pyjamas with the Swedish side not relinquishing more than a single round. FlipSid3 were unable to get back into the game on their CT side, letting NiP close out the first map with an incredible 16:1 score.
FlipSid3 returned on the second map, de_mirage however, with a great showing from the team's stand-in, Spencer "Hiko" Martin. The team locked NiP out on their first half on CT side with a dominant 13:2 scoreline with the final round being a ninja defuse from Hiko. The Ninjas didn't let FlipSid3 get out without a fight in the second half, managing to take eight rounds before the Ukrainians were able to finally make it to the finishline at 16:10.
The final map to be played was de_overpass, where we saw a close match between the two teams. FlipSid3 Tactics had a strong opening half on their T, where they were able to effectively utilize their team's aim and skill to brute force their way into sites. Although NiP were able to hold off on some rounds, they ended up with 6:9 scoreline going into the second half. Unfortunatly, FlipSid3's round advantage coming into their CT side proved to be too much for the Ninjas to overcome, allowing FlipSide to take the map and the series witha final score of 16:12.
