Team Acer have announced the disbandment of their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive after lackluster results from the squad.
After losing keystone player Björn 'THREAT' Pers from their roster, Team Acer have been unable to regain their stellar performance with a variety of substitutes on the team. It has now been revealed that after losing two more of their lineup, Christian 'Spitfire' Schiölde and Fredrik 'slap' Junbrant, Acer will be shutting down the team for good. Uwe Semtner, Team Acer's CEO, had the following to say about the closure:

Team Acer would like to apologize to the CS:GO community for the recent disappointments. As you know CS:GO is very important to us - not just as a team, but as a community, and this chapter is not closed. In fact, our CS:GO Female team is currently in Canada fighting to defend their World Championship title, so please take all your support and push our ladies to the win in Montreal.”
