de_dust2 opened disastrously for the North Americans; barely taking the pistol on their T side, they quickly lost the second round to a force buy out of EnVy, and make matters worse, Cloud9's repeated force buys dug them into a economic rut until round seven, where Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert managed to pull out the clutch against two nV players for the teams second round. At this point, Cloud9 managed to turn it around by stringing together a few rounds; but once again a deagle forcebuy put Cloud9 back where they started, leaving the North Americans with a 7:8 half. EnVyUs tried to catch Cloud9 off on their T pistol with a delayed mid to B push, but a lack of fact-finding by the French allowed Cloud9 to stack towards the site and hold off the push. On the save round for Envyus, they went mid again and almost take the round but Cloud9 once again held out strong against the push. The North Americans picked up the pace through the final few rounds, taking the map 16:12.

The second map, de_cache, was almost a carbon copy of the first, with Cloud9 taking the pistol but the deagles from their opponents again overwhelmed them in the second round, leaving them again in without a round for while. Although they managed to win a few rounds, C9 were unable to win two in a row to keep their economy together, but still managed to end the half 5:10. On the CT side, the North Americans continued their pistol round dominance, but this time they managed to hold out against nV's forcebuy, allowing Cloud9 to build a strong economy for the rifle rounds, which they locked their opponents out in the second half for eight consecutive rounds. The frenchmen managed to grab two rounds near the end of the half, but C9 finally managed to close out on their opponents 16:12, ending the series with a dominant 2-0.
