Natus Vincere took first place over EnVyUs at StarSeries Season XIII yesterday in one of the most exciting best-of-fives of the year, with Na'Vi barely edging out their opponents in a triple overtime match on de_inferno that ended in a climatic 2v2 on the B bombsite. FACEIT finals announced at Valencia
Dreamhack and FACEIT have announced a partnership to bring the FACEIT League finals to Dreamhack Valencia. Although Valencia was originally slated as part of Dreamhack's Open tournament series, the main CS:GO tournament was cancelled by the organization. The two organizations now hope that they will be able to revive the event with the FACEIT finals as a replacement.
Vox Eminor move to Renegades
The famous Austrailian lineup behind the Vox Eminor brand jumped shipped this week to play for the North American eSports team Renegades. Renegades co-owner Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles had the following to say about the accuisition:
ESL UK Premiership returns for a second season
ESL has revealed that they will be running another Premiership season, this time featuring a much larger $15,000 prize pool. The top four teams from the spring season will be automatically qualified for the group stage, while the next four will have to battle through the promotion stage to make it to the groups.
Fnatic drop out of ESWC
Fnatic have announced their withdrawal from ESWC 2015 Montreal due to scheduling conflicts. To replace them, ESWC will be inviting Titan to the event in their place. The timing comes as a relief to the French team, who were preparing to battle their way through the Franch ESWC qualifer to get a spot in the event.
