Team Dignitas reign victorious over Gamers2 in the GameAgents League grand finale.
The GameAgents League finals saw four teams compete in a bracket format that included all games being played in a best-of-three series except the grand finale, which witnessed Danish team Dignitas and Polish team Gamers2 butt heads. The tournament featured a $5,000 USD prize pool that was shared amongst the various competitors in the finals.
Dignitas made their way to the grand finale by beating Gamers2 in the first round 2:0, dominating on maps Dust2 and Cobblestone, knocking Gamers2 to the lower bracket where the Polish team faced Swedish Team Orbit and won narrowly with a 2:1 scoreline, which enabled Gamers2 to progress onto the second round of the lower bracket.
Team Dignitas continued their domination through to the second round where they faced up against fellow Danish team Copenhagen Wolves and beat their countrymen in two maps, Dignitas securing their place in the grand finale. The Danish Wolves then dropped down to the lower bracket of round two where they faced Gamers2, who went on to crush the Danes in two maps, just as Dignitas had done. This progressed Gamers2 into a spot at the grand finale, coming up against Team Dignitas.
The grand finale saw a match-up of Denmark against Poland with Dignitas and Gamers2 up to face eachother in the best-of-three series. The match featured Dignitas win on Cobblestone, 16:6 and also on Cache, 26:9 which crowned the Danish side the GameAgents League title. Team Dignitas are your league champions!
