The fourth season of Fragbite Masters is all set to begin today with the first matches of group A. Team SoloMid and Team Dignitas will be first to see action. Their match is scheduled to start at 18.00 CET. TSM is currently playing in the form of their lives after winning their first ever international tournemant defeating the best teams in the world, while Dignitas is also showing a great results recently. It will be very interesting to see who will come on top of this Danish duel. The winner of this match will play against the winner of Natus Vincere and Penta Sports.
The new season of Fragbite Masters will feature a total of sixteen teams distributed into the four groups. They will play a GSL format which was slightly tweaked. All group stage matches will feature a best-of-three series instead of best-of-one. The next stage of the tournament will see all teams moving on to the double-elimination playoffs. The top two teams of each group will get their spots in the upper bracket, while the bottom two teams will have to fight through the lower bracket. Finally, the top four teams of this bracket will qualify for the LAN finals.
