CEVO-P Season 7 to kick off tonight

CEVO has returned with Season 7 of their CS:GO league and for the first time it will feature both European and North American teams. The first matches of season 7 are scheduled to start today.

CEVO marked the return of their CS:GO league with their renewed format. The announcement showed that CEVO has a big plans for this year as we saw the North American organization expending to the European continent as well. Furthermore, the prize pool of the league got boosted to $135,000.

After the series of placement matches almost all the participants of both division got known and today season 7 will officially start. The first match to open the day will be the last and final placement match for the European division where the Finnish team, ENCORE, will take on Polish squad Gamers2. This duel will feature a best-of-three series and the winner will move on to the European division of CEVO-P Season 7.

This season of CEVO League will see teams draw into the two groups, European and North American. All of them will fight their way through a round robin format where only the top three teams of each group will get a ticket for the LAN finals in Columbus, Ohio. The two more direct invites will join these six teams to complete the list of all LAN finalists.
