Maikelele leaving NiP?

There is a growing rumour that the Swedish raising star, who has just been named for MVP at the ASUS ROG Winter event, might be leaving Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Mikail "Maikelele" Bill joined Ninjas in Pyjamas in Novemeber, replacing Robin "fifflaren" Johansson, who retired from competitive play. He took on the AWPing role for the team and has been raising his performance ever since, which let him to being awarded with the MVP title at ASUS ROG Winter only two weeks ago. The Ninjas sweeped a title at this event led by a great Maikelele who top fragged and brought them a win against Titan in the finals.

The rumours spread after Maikelele announced at his twitter account that in the following weekend he would play as a stand-in player for Team Orbit at Nordic Masters in Almhult, Sweden. This event will overlap with NiP's StarLadder matches, meaning Maikelele will have to miss offical games of his current team.

To raise more dust, Team Orbit stated on their twitter that they will be coming out with an announcement today. It is still unknown whether this post is related to Maikelele or not but all signs point in that direction.

Maikelele attitude has often been frowned-upon and has already cost him places in previous teams, such as UnWanted, so it may be the case this time.

With the Ninjas, Maikelele has achieved 2nd place at both DreamHack Winter and MLG X Games, and won 1st place at ASUS ROG Winter.
