The participating list for ASUS ROG Winter 2015 is closed after the remaining two slots have been filled up by the two teams from the online qualifier.
We had already announced the end of the $25,000 ASUS ROG Tournament invite period for Winter 2015, which will take place January 30 - 31st in Helsinki, Finland During ASSEMBLY LAN. There were a total of six teams directly invited. They will be joined by two more teams which qualified through an online qualification tournament, hosted by FACEIT. That one started yesterday and ended today, January 10-11, with the top two, out of 128, teams qualifying.
The qualifier held many surprises, as neither Flipsid3 nor the new LGB lineup made it to the second day. Teams volgare and GEDUKT had amazing performances which carried them all the way to qualifying, securing themselves a place in the ASUS ROG Winter edition of 2015.
