MLG's Americas-only invitational began last night and we have our first eliminations. SHOUTcraft America champion Kane advanced together with ROOT's puCK to the Ro8, leaving two of the most known names in the scene out of the tournament.
Kane, the newest member of the mYi A Team who joined the organization last September, became the first Ro8 player of GameOn invitational after playing a perfect group last night. The first Shoutcraft America winner trampled through HuK in the opening match and Catz in the winner's to enter the second group stage with a 4-0.
Kane was accompanied by his old team-mate puCK. The ROOT Protoss lost to his captain Catz in the opening match but recovered against HuK in the losers by defeating him 2-1 before taking revenge on the Peruvian Zerg to leave him out of the competition.
GameOn Invitational continues at 01:00 on January 20th or in little less than 14 hours. It's an all-US group with Neeb, Suppy, Nony and State.
