The Spanish Terran of Mousesports will be putting StarCraft 2 on halt indefinitely to focus on his studies, indicate a series of tweets including Mousesports manager Wake.
Both Lucifron and his brother Vortix are known to have been taking long breaks for their studies in the past. Lucifron first went into temporary retirement in November 2011, leaving team APSC2 alongside manager Ryo. Lucifron would eventually return in 2012 to participate in The Gathering '12 in Norway and he remained an active player for the next two years, even going full time in January 2013.
A series of tweets from last night, however, indicate that the Moreno Terran will no longer be focusing solely on StarCraft 2 as he'll go back to college. Mouz manager Wake says that Lucifron will still be an official part of the roster and be welcomed back whenever he decided he wants to return to professional StarCraft 2.
@AD7__ @SCenfu Precisely. But again, we're allowing him this break. If it's permanent or not - is unconfirmed.

@Steisjo @regorsnas_APSC2 @SCenfu He remains in the team - he goes back to studies - he will not be an active competitor.

@Steisjo @Rif_kingz @regorsnas_APSC2 @SCenfu If he wants to come back or not is up to him, but if he does, he's back in the red jersey.
