Jaedong wins Numericable M-House Cup 3

EG's Tyrant took another gold home at the end of the year after he triumphed in Marseille over Solar to bank the €3,000 of the Numericable M-House Cup 3. Third came StarTale's Curious for an all-Zerg top three.

The event took place in the Millenium team house and featured invited and qualified players alike. Big names like Stephano, ForGG, Harstem and Jaedong were seeded directly into the group stage while the other four participants, namely BabyKnight, Daishy, Curious and Solar, had to fight their way through the four online qualifiers.

Jaedong entered the tournament as the heavy favorite, having already triumphed in another European event, ASUS ROG's NorthCon 2013. The Tyrant opened the group strong with a 2-0 against Harstem but a 1-2 loss to ForGG in the winners match send him down to the decider. There, he'd play the Dutch Protoss again who eliminated Stephano in the losers match and after another 2-0 Jaedong was in the playoffs.

The top four of the tournament had turned out Zerg heavy with Curious and Solar coming out of Group A, which automatically increased Jaedong's chances even further. Long known for his ZvZ, EG's star player blanked Curious in the semi-finals and came back from a two-game deficit against Solar in the grand final to take hom the lion's share of the prize pool.

Third in the tournament finished Curious, who 3-0'd ForGG in the bronze final to walk out €900 richer.
