Following the departure of sOs and Soulkey, the team has been left without a roster.
Having released its final two players, Woongjin Stars, one of the oldest teams in competitive Starcraft, will be closing its doors. The team came to life in 2000 as Hanbit Stars, but was renamed after a change of sponsorship.
The two remaining players, sOs and Soulkey, have gone to Jin Air Greenwings and SK Telecom T1, respectively.
Woongjin Stars previously finished second place in the 2012-2013 SK Planet Proleague. Soulkey and sOs gained considerable prestige after very strong performances this past year. In particular, Soulkey was this year's WCS Season 1 Korean champion, while sOs won the 2013 WCS Global Finals.
