The AreNA Comes to the North American Scene

Small but ambitious, the AreNA will attempt to incentivize the North American environment, taking its cues from SHOUTcraft America.

SHOUTcraft America's popularity was not the result of chance. It proved definitely that fans were not only ready, but also looking, for American-exclusive events. The AreNA, a King of the Hill event to be held weekly, proposes to do the same, albeit on a smaller scale. "With the drop out of Playhem and other community run events, many of the top players in the NA scene have lost motivation and have become less dedicated to the game," writes Nour 'PrOmise' Moussa, the event's organizer and an upcoming shoutcaster. "On the bright side, I have spoken to many of the top players in the North American scene about doing something like this and personally asked them if they would show interest in playing this type of a KOTH. I can gladly say, they agreed."

The event is funded from Moussa's own pocket, and will be open to the top 25 Grandmaster players of the North American ladder.  Joining him on the casting desk will be Yoan 'ToD' Merlo.

The first installment will take place this Monday at 23:00 CET and will be available in free 1080p at the official stream.
