Jaedong re-signs with EG for another year

After getting a permission from KeSPA to not return to JinAir Greenwings, Lee "Jaedong" Jae Dong will remain with Evil Geniuses for 2014.

The Tyrant had his contract with the American organization expire on November 30th and according to the initial terms of his lease he was supposed to return to JinAir Greenwings (named Team 8 at the that he was leased to Evil Geniuses). However, it was reported two days ago that KeSPA have considered Jaedong's wish to not return to his old team and purse future opportunities elsewhere.

In many people's eyes, these news translated as Jaedong staying with Evil Geniuses for yet another year instead of changing teams and as it turned out today that would indeed be the case. In the past year, Jaedong reached five premier tournament grand finals and placed top four twice more. He became EG's highest achieving player for 2013 so the extension of his contract for 2014 came naturally.
