O'Gaming.tv, the crew behind the two editions of the Iron Squid tournament, will produce a nation wars tournament next month. Eight national teams with three players each will compete for a $3,000 first place prize.
Starting this month, a list of five players from each of the eight invited countries will be made available for voting. Through their votes, the StarCraft 2 community will select three of those five players and will decide what the line-up of each nation will be.
Once the teams are ready, they will be placed in a Bo5 double elimination group stage tournament, the top two of each group to advance to the playoffs. Those playoffs in turn will be a single elimination competition with Bo5 for semi finals and 3rd/4th place match and Bo7 for the grand finals.
The invited countries are:
France
Sweden
Germany
Ukraine
Russia
Spain
Poland
Norway
The tournament will come on streams January 17-19.
