The lone foreigner and the two renowned champions are out of DreamHack as of the last two losers bracket rounds. The heavy hitters became victims of tournament underdogs JYP and Patience who will play Innovation and MMA next, respectively.
DreamHack Winter 2013 became an all-Korean affair after the third losers round played earlier today. Allieance's Naniwa, who defeated Leenock last night in LR2 to stay in the tournament took a 1-2 defeat at the hands of JYP. Naniwa is the third player slain by the EG Protoss after fan favorites TLO and Jaedong who lost 0-2 and 1-2, respectively.
JYP was not the only player to make a splash, however. Azubu's Patience, who was sent down to the losers bracket by MMA, ousted not only the world champion sOs 2-0 but also back-to-back WCS America winner Polt (2-1) and will get a chance to take revenge on the Acer Terran at 18:15 CET today. The winner of the rematch will face whoever survives the Innovation/JYP series in LR4. Aside from those four, still left in the tournament are Life (waiting in the losers final) and Taeja, who's already qualified for the grand final.
