The PvZ will decide who will go home with the $30,000 and the third WCG StarCraft 2 trophy.
Yet another year, the World Cyber Games will have a Korean StarCraft 2 champion as Soulkey and Sora will battle tomorrow at 06:30 CET. The CJ Protoss took a decisive 3-0 over Dayshi in the quarter finals and moved on to eliminate the very player that defeated him at the WCG Korean nationals, SKT's Parting. Sora entered the series strong and scored back-to-back victories to accumulate a nice lead for himself, one that he eventually turned into a 3-1 final score.
In the bottom half of the bracket, Soulkey ousted Sen 3-0 and moved on to the semi finals where Jim was already waiting. The Chinese Protoss had just won a hard-fought iG team-kill against MacSed and was ready to give Soulkey a hard time as well. After losing the first series, Jim won two in a row and almost turned the match around but a pair of victories from Soulkey ultimately decided the series into Korean's favor.
$30,000 will be awarded to the winner of the PvZ final tomorrow where $15,000 will go to the runner-up. The third place match between PartinG and Jim will be played after the grand final and the bronze medalist will walk away with $7,500.
