Our very own Mervyn Tan brings you the first batch of photos from IEM Singapore as the competition enters is halfway through the group stage.
Coming from the bracket stage, Yoe's San was the first player to advance to the IEM Singapore playoffs. The Korean Protoss trampled through both Xigua and Mvp and dropped but a single map to his compatriot before topping group A. Mvp himself followed as second, going through StarTale Curious twice, once with 2-1 in the opening match and the with a 2-0 in the decider.
With three Korean Zergs infesting Group B, it was expected that the Swarm would be extremely dominant during the second half of the day. Mvp's DongRaeGu advanced as first and was joined by CJ's EffOrt shortly after the KeSPA Zerg went through all three opponents in his group before making it out, defeating Empire's Happy 2-0 in the decider.
