Similar to the Blizzard Cups of previous years, the Hot6ix Cup by GomTV will gather eight GSL, OSL and WCS Korea champions and runner-ups in a single elimination tournament. Almost $19,000 will be awarded to the winner.
Seven of the eight players have been chosen based on being grand finalists for this year's Korean tournaments. Bomber is the only player to not have made a GSL, OSL or WCS Korea final but has been invited based on GSL points to replace Innovation (runner-up of WCS Korea S1), who will attend NorthCon at that time.
