The streaming platform's upcoming expansion now includes fan favorite Aleksey 'WhiteRa' Krupnyk.
The first of a series of blog posts detailing new and upcoming developments at Twitch.tv has revealed that fan favorite (not to mention master of Special Tactics) WhiteRa has joined the streaming platform's staff, ostensibly to help its expansion in the former Soviet Bloc. "On top of Cristian ‘Trance’ Tamas (@Trancez0r) who has been with us for almost two years, we’ve officially added Starcraft 2 pro, Aleksey ‘White Ra’ Krupnyk (@WhiteRaSC) to help us with our partners in the CIS region," wrote Twitch. "In 2014, this will grow even further." For WhiteRa, whose competitive presence has all but vanished, this career change is not only predictable but welcome. His enduring charm and popularity have only solidified, even as his Starcraft prowess was left behind.
