Woongjin Stars' Protoss will play his second WCS grand final of his career after placing second at Season 1 finals. sOs will play the winner of Jaedong and Maru which is on stream now.
Despite sOs' eventual success, it was Bomber that opened the series strong. The StarTale showed a commanding presence on Yeonsu and took an early lead but his advantage was short-lived.
sOs quickly tied the series on Akilon Wastes and readied for the third game on Derelict Watcher. After suffering Bomber's punches for the better part of the game and dropping a significant amount of supply, sOs composed himself and started coming back with a series of favorable army trades. Using forcefields, storms and archon tanking to maximum efficiency, sOs was able to turn the game around and get in the lead for the first time in the series. A fourth and final game on Bel'Shir Vestige promoted him to the first BlizzCon 2013 grand finalist.
sOs' opponent will be either Jaedong or Maru, the two of who are currently fighting on the main eSports stream.
