In an all-Russian final of the HomeStory VIII Europe qualifier, Titan took a 3-1 victory over Happy to become the third player to secure a seed for Krefeld this November.
Both players had an uncontested run through the bracket. From the Ro32 on, Titan beat Strelok, KnowMe, Delphi and Noname before reaching the grand final without a single map loss. His compatriot coming from the lower part of the bracket had to eliminate Preos, Midori, White and Zanster, dropping just a single map to the Ukrainian Zerg.
The final saw Titan taking a two-game lead which Happy could not melt. Winning only the third map on Whirlwind, Happy had to concede the finals to his compatriot and allow him advance to the main event.
The eighth edition of HomeStory Cup will be held November 14-17 in Krefeld, Germany.
