Two more playdays are left before the conclusion of the StarCraft 2 League. Today, Team Liquid meet EG in the winner's final, the loser dropping down to play Acer.
The tournament to determine the best among the foreign powerhouses took its first playoffs victim last night. In the semi finals of the SC2L, Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses were the ones to advance to the winner's finals after breaking the necks of Acer (4-2) and Axiom (4-1), respectively.
That left the GSTL-allied roster one against another. On the back of a double kill by Innovation and with the help of Polish Zerg duo Nerchio and Paranoid, Acer then ousted Axiom from the competition and kept their tournament life for at least one more round.
Acer will be awaiting their next opponent tonight as the established brands of EG and TL go against each other in the winner's final. Opening game is HerO/Jaedong and the series is in the usual Best of 7.
