WCS Europe arrives at an all-Korean PvP grand final between MC and Duckdeok. Few hours from this post, one of them will be handed the trophy and a cheque for $20,000.
Abusing MMA's weakness in TvP, SK's Boss Toss MC came in strong in the first semi final of the day and ousted the Acer Terran in four maps. Promising his fans to win the entire tournament, MC is indeed looking strong as he's about to play his first grand final since ASUS ROG Summer '12.
In the bottom half of the bracket, MVP's Duckdeok snatched a hard fought 3-2 against crowd favorite Grubby. The Dutchman, who sliced through notable names like ForGG, MVP, Ret and Vortix, was stopped on Bel'Shir Vestige by Duckdeok's stalker/phoenix attack, a hit that came seconds before his DT tech could kick in.
This brings the second WCS Europe to a PvP grand final. Both players step in with admirable results this tournament alone, SK's star being 7-1 in mirrors to Duckdeok's 6-4. Numbers aside, though, the MVP Protoss has already secured a reputation of a giant slayer and the bodies of Lucifron, Stephano, Dimaga, Naniwa and Grubby are evidence of that.
