A best of five PvT will put an end to the first Assembly tournament for 2013. In a few minutes time, Azubu's San faces Liquid's Taeja for the throne in Helsinki, Finland.
Both players are entering the grand final with impressive stats on their account. Taeja is undefeated in series but his map score of 18-7 is worse than San's outstanding 20-3. The only losses of the Azubu Protoss happened in the Ro16 and apart from that, he is flawless in his best of fives, going 6-0 in the Ro32 and 6-0 in the playoffs.
The win-rate statistics are also high enough to eleviate the hype even further. Taeja is bringing along his 71% TvP - his strongest match-up since his career rise in WoL - and will match it against San's 60%. Although arguably weaker in the match-up (and not just statistically), San is nevertheless looking to make a strong showing and put a premier gold medal to go for his rising performance in Heart of the Swarm.
Winner of the Assembly will bank a total of $10,000, leaving the loser half that amount.
