Alicia will open the playday against Empire's Happy
After two days of group stage play, Assembly Summer '13 arrives at the final mile, the top eight single elimination playoffs to determine the winner of the $10,000. Happy and Alicia open the last day at 12:00 CET.
Both group stage phases had a myriad of upsets and many a known player fell before the playoffs. MC, Socke and SortOf were among those who couldn't climb out of the Ro32 while TLO, Elfi, Welmu, Lucifron and Vortix met their end in the top sixteen, making for a Korean-dominated playoffs bracket.
The fate of the foreigners will be decided in the first two matches of the bracket. Russian Terran Happy is playing Axiom's Alicia at 12:00 CET, followed by Liquid`s Taeja against American Zerg hope Goswser at 13:30 CET. The closing QF matches are StarDust vs HyuN and DongRaeGu vs San at 15:00 and 16:30 CET respectively.
