Proleague: STX in the lead after seven maps

STX SouL took the first game in the playoffs against SK Telecom and are a match away from top three. SKT will have a chance to tie it tomorrow.

Protosses rule the first maps of the series as BeSt upset STX ace Innovation in game one to give SKT the early lead, only to see STX coming back through Dear and Mini and the defeat of Protoss powerhouses Rain and Parting. The tense tug-of-war continued as Fantasy and soO scored for SKT to once again put their team in the lead (and one game away from playday win) when Brood War legend Bisu failed to deliver against Trap and forced the match into an ace map.

Expectedly, Innovaiton was called for STX SouL, whom SKT tried to counter with Fantasy, forcing the Season 1 champion into, statistically, his worst match-up. While the audience was prepared for a long and epic conclusion of the series, Innovation would not have it so and a skillful use of the new and improved banshee decided the outcome, not giving Fantasy to secure and saturate his natural.
