In a day of long win streaks, AZUBU pulled a close win in nine maps against StarTale and move on the round two of GSTL playoffs against Incredible Miracle. Winner plays Axiom-Acer next weekend.
StarTale opened with a Zerg mirror win for Curious against Bboong but soon enough the world collapsed onto them as Genius was sent out for Azubu. Although a player who's been off the radar for a long time, the 2010 BlizzCon champion sliced through the best StarTale's roster had to offer, including Terran powerhouse Bomber and Zerg prodigy Life. A victory against Hack put him on a four-game winning streak and his team one game away from victory.
StarTale were not entirely done, however, and another lower name player, namely Avenge, was summoned as their last hope. To ST's luck, the young Protoss delivered just enough to put his team back on equal footing by eliminating Supernova and San along with Genius but he was not meant to have a winning streak. Azubu called for Symbol in game nine and the former GSL finalist had little trouple ending Avenge's spree and advance his team to top four.
