His dream of playing for a KeSPA team comes to sudden halt as the Mexican is one of four players to be let go by the team.
Despite its singularity, Juan Carlos "MajOr" Tena Lopez' stay with Team 8 has not attracted much attention. But that is, according to the man himself, not the sole reason, if at all. "I would love to continue but Kespa is cutting 4 players and I'm one of those" says MajOr, who underwent a number of name changes over the years, some might argue to escape bad press attached to his name.
it was a nice experience, i dont regret anything i done here so far, im happpy with the choices i made mistakes or not.

The 20 year-old left ROOT Gaming in November of last year in an attempt to fulfill his dream of joining a KeSPA team, which eventually didn't prove fruitful. He went back to ROOT shortly thereafter, but adding a clause in his contract that would allow him to join a KeSPA roster at any point in time. So on January 2nd of this year it was made official that MajOr joined Team 8 and will practice alongside the other players in Korea. He was the first, and to this point only Western player to join a organization that is part of KeSPA. His almost six-month stint, however, ended yesterday with the above announcement via Twitter.
He will return to Mexico next week, and with all likelihood compete in WCS America Season 2.
