Despite the heavy Swedish presence, only five Vikings made it through to Ro64 of DreamHack Summer, losing the Stockholm runner-up along the way

DH Stockholm silver medalist Naniwa says an early goodbye to DreamHack Summer after clutch 3rd place finish in Group 2 prompted by a loss to IM's Protoss Squirtle. The Swede possessed the power to eliminate the Korean out of the tournament and came really close after taking the first map in the group's deciding match-up but a 1-2 comeback saw him ousted from DH Summer.
EG Protoss HuK is another crowd favorite that packs his luggage after the Round of 64. After losing to Violet and viPro 0-2 and 1-2, HuK forfeited his final game against Darkomicron and departed from DH Summer last in Group 3.
The rest of the results from the first batch of Ro64 games would not come out as shocking as the Korean force expectedly dominated every possible group but #1 and #4 - which witnessed the elimination of FXO's Lucky WW's Daisy, respectively - and the presence of GSL finalists like Squirtle, Life and HyuN in the next round is certain.
The second half of Ro64 games is already under way with names like Jaedong, Stephano, Lucifron, Taeja, Gumiho, TLO and Snute left to be tested. This second group stage is scheduled to finish at 22:00 CET when the last one will begin, the end of which will determine the playoffs line-up.
