The only tournament in StarCraft 2 based around WhiteRa's barbecue and the Looping Louie drinking game returns this month with the qualifiers right around the corner.
Despite Krefeld's lack of notoriety in society, it has managed to become a mainstay in every StarCraft 2 fan's annual calender. Now it's time to qualify for the seventh installment for infamous HomeStory Cup, played live in Dennis "Take" Gehlen's apartment. As fondly as people remember Snute's victory over Symbol in the last cup, it's about time to find the new competitors of the first HomeStory tournament this year. Sign ins for the qualifiers can be found here, starting with the Korean section this Monday. The American and European qualifiers will follow later this week, Thursday and Friday respectively, and will be broadcast live in German via the TaKeTV Twitch channel, with English commentary yet to be announced.
The winners of each qualifier will receive a paid trip for the main tournament that will follow on the weekend of June 20th. While the second and third place finishers of Europe and America will be getting invites, Koreans will have to live with only the second spot being given an additional invite.
