The two big names will be joined by OGN's own DoA and MonteCristo. GomTV's caster duo's will be not be attending but casting from the GSL studio instead.

Scheduled for the weekend of June 7-9th, the WCS Season 1 finals are to wrap up the first third of the 2013 circuit, distribute the $150,000 in prize money and award substantial WCS points, which in turn determine who will attend the world finals at Blizzcon.

With the event but two weeks away, the first details have surfaced and concern the caster line-up, the scheduling and the places where the competition will be held.

As OGN will be in charge of the broadcast, it is no surprise to see their dedicated casting duo Erik "DoA" Lonnquist and Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles in the selection. The two will be accompanied by the renowned StarCraft 2 veteran casters Sean "Day[9]" Plott and Shaun "Apollo" Clark, who complete the English line-up of commentators.

What this additionally means is that there will be none GomTV-employed casters in Tasteless, Artosis, Wolf and Khaldor at the live event. It has been confirmed, however, that GomTV will indeed provide an alternative broadcast of the event from their own studio.

The finals themselves will be held at two locations. Yongsan e-Stadium will host the entire group stage and the early rounds of the playoffs on June 7th and 8th while the semi finals and grand finals will be moved to Jamsil Student's Indoor Gymnasium on June 9th. The format of the tournament will be standard double elimination groups into single elimination brackets.

Thus far, eleven of the 16 players to take part in the seasonal finals are known, the last five to be determined this weekend as WCS America comes to an end.
