The group stage matches for the premier division of WCS America are done and we get one week until the remaining eight will engage in the fight for the regional championship.
Three Zerg, three Protoss and two Terran players is the racial distribution in the final eight of the tournament and the Terrans partially have Violet's forfeiture to thank for that. The Azubu Zerg surrendered his Ro16 matches due to visa issues and left a Terran-only Group D in Alive, Ryung and Polt.
Not wanting to lag behind his teammates Crank and Alicia, Ryung evoked some great plays and after six games managed to come on top of it all, leaving Polt and Alive to clash swords for the second place. Another three-game series followed in which the EG Terran proved the better competitor and sent Polt out of the premier league and down the third round of challenger matches.
