The pairing for the final round of Code A are here. The 30 players have been spread across six groups and on June 6th, we learn which 12 will advance up to Code S.
There are certainly a couple of groups that spark interest. In Group B we see Terran powerhouses YoDa and Fantasy being accompanied by the prominent Quantic Zerg Golden as well as two more KeSPA-trained names in Trust and Savage. Further down the road is Group D, featuring a stacked line-up with Curious, ByuN and Effort, all of whom have been recognized names on the scene for a long time.
Just next to it is Group E with established names of old, including multitasking beast Gumiho, 2012 WCS Korea champion Creator and back-to-back BroodWar OSL champion Jangbi. YuGiOh and Swagger - both less accomplished players but well capable of delivering an upset - are there to complete the show.
The first three Up/Down groups are to be played next week, leading up to the Code S Grand final on June 1st. The other half is schedule for June 4-6th and with them the first WCS Korea season shall be completed. ?
