STARCRAFTGAMERS CREW went to Dreamhack monday the 16th of June to arrange the Starcraft: Brood War World Cyber Games qualification #3. No players were registred before the intended time, but there are about 5000 gamers around here so there is not any lack of players :] poGDI and I worked alot with the site during day one and two, since the tournament was about to be held on the Wednesday. We also held a 1on1 tournament and one 2on2, both unofficial and without any prize money, but still deadly serious and fun! ^Phobos^ won the 1on1 tournament. Bad_Karma[SpeC] and Art_Cp won the 2on2 tournament, after beating myself and poGDI (we acctually came as far as finals!) with 2-0. The WCG qualifications started 20.00, Wednesday. The following players were registered and confirmed:

We seeded the players, had a meeting and discussed rules and important information about the tournament and then began immediatly. Results from the first round:

Dealer had no problems beating ToR)Ment. Karma easily beat Wopman (who constantly had 5 probes during the game). ^Phobos^ vs Art_Cp was really fun to observe, it was two Protoss versus Protoss games which were really close and intresting. Especially one scarab shot from Phobos in the beginning, killing almost 15 probes. Gosu! Second round:

In the second game of MuSSa vs Dealer, MuSSa totally gave up and built like 25 Engineering Bays, which were brutally killed by Dealer's goliaths. This means, Dealer and ^Phobos^ in the finals. Last round:

The game Mussa vs Karma was about the second runner up spot and was shown on the big screen. Many people watching, good game actually. Dealer won against Phobos in the main final but since there are three national final spots it didn't matter much. However, Dealer won the game with 2-0. Winners:
