I went to Café Play IT and I expected a lot of players to show up. They didn't. I went there and who were there? Henkeponken. Henkeponken only. (And he didn't want to participate) What the..? After about 10 minutes, Daaman[pG] and SPX.TuFFeR checked in, both from the Swedish nationalteam. Uh huh, good. At least two players. Two players? Hey? There are two spots for the national final for this qualification, so two players isn't enough :]
This event got really delayed, the Counter-Strike tournament was prolonged almost four hours which forced us to wait. We went to McDonalds, Henkeponken, Daaman, Punisher (who arrived with Daaman) and I. We were talking about just going home since there were only two players there, and just showing up and paying 200 SEK seemed to be enough to go to the national final. Punisher, who hasn't played for a long time, as he told us, said that this just can't happen. He said "I will participate. I know I suck but hey.." (actually he said it in Swedish, but still... :p)
Anyhow, since CS was prolonged by four hours, we got enough time for U.F.O (also Team SWE member) to finish his soccer traning. We called him on his cell phone and he promised to come to Play IT as soon as possible. He arrived and wow, we were four players! 20.30 we started the games. This is how we played:
Game 1: Player one vs player two. (Best out of three)
Game 2: Player three vs player four. (Best out of three)
Game 3: Winner of game one vs winner of game two.
Game 4: Loser of game one vs loser of game two.
Game 5: Loser of game three vs winner of game four. (Best out of three)
Winner of game 5 and 3 goes to the national final.

Wow! Punisher who just played for fun actually won the whole thing! Punisher seemed so relaxed and didn't take it serious at all, at least that's what it looked like to me! He just came there to observe and joined for fun just to get killed but he won! And beat one of Sweden's best of the best players! I am truly impressed! The only one who did not come from the Swedish national team won, damn :] Daaman however did a great tournament and won all his games expect for that one (Game 3, Best out of one only), and placed as runner up. Great games! Congratulations!
