MBC Challenge League

A few days ago we posted about the MBC Challenge League Prelims, well the prelims were hosted today and what a day it was for MBC. Two Chinese gamers had a chance to make history, but not all things go as planned as life has proven over and over again.

LinYu)Pj, also known as mYm.Pj, and Pnz_Legendary, also known as mYm.Lx, both had a chance to be granted berths into the MBC Challenge League if they won their groups in the prelims. But things did not go well as both got eliminated early in the prelims.

The gamer in the bold would be the gamer that won the specified group, while the other gamer listed is the gamer that the group winner defeated to win the group. The winner of each group gets a ticket to the MBC Challenge League.

The MBC Challenge League is not the most balanced proleauge that has been played. There are only two qualified Protoss gamers, there are eight Zerg gamers, and there are six Terran gamers in the league.

LinYu)Pj only won his first game against HiyA[fOu], but than he lost to the great JulyZerg. Pnz_Legendary did not have the same luck, he did not even win a single match as he did lose to Sea.Up. But for those two to be even where they are at now is still a great accomplishment to have. Good job to the both of them!
