After the 1on1 tournament, a 2on2 tournament was played, a tournament where ZergFlickan and Passionate went undefeated through the brackets, after beating oG)ZoXXeR and Troy(TP) in the grand final.
After a good 1on1 tournament here on Dreamhack Winter 04 a lot of people wanted to have a 2on2 tournament. So we decided to host the tour today after the final in the official one on one tour. Even if only 10 teams joined up and paid the entering fee of €3, it worked out really good. With just one exception; our pizza delivery came just when the tour should have started so we had to delay the the start with 15 minutes. The international clan oG) had three players in the tournament:
oG)ZoXXeR, oG)poGDI and the English player
oG)Andy (picture). And all these players faced each other in the first round where oG)Andy and oG)poGDI won against oG)ZoXXeR and Troy(TP) on Legacy of Char. On the other side of the bracket, the second prize winner from the 1on1 tournament
Mireille and BK]Vilda marched the whole way to the Winner Bracket finals where they lost to ZergFlickan and Passionate.A couple of hours into the tournament only two teams were left. The first one made its way to the final without losing a single game - ZergFlickan and Passionate. The other team was oG)ZoXXeR and Troy(TP). ZergFlickan and Passionate came from Winner Bracket, hence the starting stats - 1-0. The finals were played best of five, and not only for money but also for personal prestige between friends.
